Disability Pension

The Plan provides a disability retirement for those in need based on the following: "Disability Retirement" means a termination of covered employment of a participant by reason of permanent disability occurring after he/she has completed five (5) years of Vesting Service and before he/she is eligible for Normal Retirement. For purposes of this plan, "permanent disability" means a physical condition resulting from bodily injury, disease or disorder ( whether or not occupational) which renders the Participant incapable of engaging in or performing the principal duties of his customary employment. A Participant shall automatically be deemed "permanently disabled" if he has been found entitled to Social Security disability benefits.

All disputes concerning disability will be presented to the Board for review.
